my Design philosophy
Design isn't decoration — it's a series of decisions. Every flow I build, every component I spec, every edge case I map out is a decision about what the user needs, what can go wrong, and who bears the cost if it does. I don't start at the screen. I start at the system.
I work best in environments where clarity matters more than creativity — where the interface has to earn trust on day one and hold it every day after. I use AI to move faster on the mechanical parts, so I can think harder on the parts that actually matter: the problem behind the problem.
I don't just design interfaces — I design the thinking behind them, so the product actually works when it matters most.
Most design problems aren't really design problems. They're workflow problems, trust problems, compliance problems — dressed up as UI. That's the brief I work best with. Give me something complex, regulated, or high-stakes, and I'll give you something people actually use without thinking twice.
